This weeks tune is something that I would like to call Blip Blop Techno. Bicep – “Aura” (12″ Mix), at the ninja tune label, is a very atmospheric, mellow feeling but still rather driving techno/progressive thing to set quite a mood in the big room. Awesome track that builds from a simple drum to a very energetic dreamy sounding feel. It could have been done in the eighties and been the intro to Youngblood, because bass drum and other elements really carry that 80s feeling.
