The artist XRS land, or simply XRS, is a brilliant musician from Brazil. I met him a few year back at a Redbull academy event, great guy. At that same event I also met with Drumagick. This event opened my eyes for DnB, and I must say, I love it. “The secrets of the Floating Island” from the album “Sarau“, which you can get on Discogs (like everything else 🙂 ), reeks of Brazil. It is a latin tune, as well as a DnB tune. In fact is bridges the two styles very nicely. Listen to it below.

 

 

As you can hear, XRS is a master producer. And why wouldn’t he be, coming from a musical family and all. I can highly recommend almost everything that comes out of XRS studio.
