Raul Saaremets is not a newcomer in the music scene of Estonia. He is doing a little big of everything, but his work as a radio, club DJ and promoter seemingly stands out. Read a little bit about him at discogs.

“Benga benga” that Raul released under his alias Ajukaja is an afro funk tune that contains a sample from “Yembele” by Samba Mapangala and Orchestre Virunga, released in 1984. Both versions are great, so in fact this has become two tunes of the week. 🙂 The Edit was released in 2013 on Porridge Bullet / Pudru Kuul (PB005). Discogs seems to be the place to get your hand on a copy.
