I want to follow op on a post I did a couple of weeks ago about Genres in dance music (check it here) by bringing up a book titled “Last night a DJ saved my life” by Bill Brewster and Frank Broughton. This book is for those of you who wants to dig deeper into the history of music, how the different genres emerged and where the dj came from. It is a great book that is also well written. I bought my copy, the one you see in the featured image, in the year of 2000. It has been revised since, and it obviously comes in different covers.
