So, Ryoma Takemasa had a huge success in Japan in 2012 when he release “Catalyst“, or at least it seemed he had when I visited the country and bought be album. Read my post about the album here. In my world Ryoma stood out with his sound that wanders between techno and house. By far his best tune to date is “Strictly street (my home setagaya)”, but his new release “Never gonna let you go” is almost on par. It is underground funky disco house a la Chicago style, but from Japan. This is awesome!
