Tune of the week this time is EPIC. Believe me, it is unusual for a house music nerd like myself to say so about a techno track. But “Epika” by Guy Mantzur and Roy RosenfelD is groovy in the right way, enough to get my legs moving. It has a driving beat, some cool sounds that sound like an FX Guitar (which is the funky bit of it all), a nice deep base (that actually plays different tones), a techy filling sound and a pad (at a few places). Quite minimalistic, but excellent!
